KASA Ultabati Hammered Singing Bowl - D2 (34 cm, 4.1 kg)

Ultabati bowls are a distinctive type of singing bowl. They produce a very deep, low-pitched sound, similar to a gong. Typically, they are large bowls with thin walls, a very low tone, and a raw, unpolished exterior finish.

Kasa is a specialized family of blacksmiths who employ an ancient technique to craft singing bowls of the highest sound quality. The Kasa sound is characterized by a dual vibrating tone and a multitude of direct subtones. Master blacksmiths use a secret seven-metal alloy that differs from the standard blends used by other workshops. As a result, the bowls possess a richer sound and are lighter in weight.
